| Since everyone loves picture post here's an update to my progress so far. This trans jack from Harbor Freight made pulling the transmission easy.
I hate these guys, second one so far:
I have been working every night for two weeks to get it ready for this last weekend. My father, brother in law and long time friend came over to help with my first pull.
Said long time friend:
I should have broken loose the crank pulley bolt before I dropped the tranny and pulled the engine. Since I forgot we came up with this to help. Worked like a charm.
I had no idea that my engine mounts were this bad:
Turbo's were in much better condition then I expected. No shaft play. I will be installing new CHRA's anyways.
Very dirty:
My initial futile attempt to break loose the intake cam sprockets. I eventually remembered about the belt wrap technique which worked well...thanks Damon.
All cleaned up:

 I could have waited until I was further along but my post tend to get a little picture heavy so that is all for now.
